Dear Fam - Dad and I made it to Joburg (as the locals call it) - it was actually a very nice trip.  It only cost us $55 each to get out of Lubumbashi!  That airport is absolutely crazy!!!  Being in a clean hotel room with electricity, clean water from the tap, CARPET, no ants . . . I don't know, I just might want to stay!!!  At least I'm going to enjoy it for a week.  Anyway, I just thought I should let you all know how to get ahold of us in case of emergency.
